A new release is available, and will be proposed as an update by the control panel.  See the release notes

The main change is that the new IWF age groups are the default when creating a new database.

• Age Groups: the age groups now follow the June 2025 IWF categories by default.

  • To update an existing database, load the AgeGroups_2025-06 file from the Age Group preparation button.
  • For new databases, the default will now be AgeGroups_2025-06.
  • To create a new owlcms from scratch with a new database with the new Age Groups, use the "Click here to install additional version" at the bottom of the control panel instead of doing an update.

• Translations

  • New translation: Norwegian (norsk)
  • Support for Right-to-Left languages.
    • User interface support for Right-to-Left languages and style sheets has been enabled (the user interface is mirrored)
    • A Hebrew translation has been added (many thanks to Yaniv Masler)
    • (experimental) An initial Arabic translation has been added. This translation was generated by AI techniques and likely contains errors. Human volunteers are being sought to review it.

• Athlete-facing Clock: A flashing stop sign is shown on the athlete-facing decision board while the competition is stopped.
