Now in Spain we build teams according to Sinclair rank in team competitions. Teams are composed of five lifters. The first five Sinclair scores of one club are A team. The next five B team and the same to the end.

Is there any way in Excel templates to get these results automatically?

I played a bit with Excel this afternoon and this is what I came up with (this will be in the next version 57 - I needed to make a small change to the program for this to work).
  • This will be an additional template available from the Final Package button in the Competition Results page
  • The number of men and women in the teams is at the bottom of the spreadsheet
  • The sorted summary is produced with a "Pivot Table", which I cannot fully automate
  • You will need to download the file and perform a couple manual operations to tell Excel to refresh the table, to sort it, and to format the numbers,
The example below is from a recent competition where I knew the teams would be big enoug

Returning to this I started to play with this template but I noticed some template variables are not contempled and are not present in the documentation.

Is this issue outdated? Or was somtehing forgotten during this time period?

Thanks
