In
addition to the regular Market on Saturday, January 28, the Worthington
Farmers Market Friends is hosting a special volunteer open house on
Saturday, January 28th between 2 and 3 p.m. at the Griswold Center.
We'll
have snacks provided by market vendors, some fun conversation, a chance
to meet our new market manager, and most important, you'll find out how
YOU can volunteer to make our Saturday markets even better.
The
winter market depends on volunteer support, and the Friends are also
looking for volunteers who want to help make the summer market
experience even better. You can volunteer for as little as an hour or
two. We especially need people for these roles: **setup at the winter market **winter market cleanup
**staffing the information booth -- winter or summer **newsletter and social networking
**data entry **organizing cooking demonstrations in the summer **and the Friends are always open to new projects that our volunteers are interested in!
We hope to see you all on the 28th!!
