Anobvious problem is that we use basic HTML scrollbar, which is not being displayed in e-book readers such as iBooks on the iPad. Hence, the user has now idea how long the scrollable content stretches. This could probably be solved with a more complex, JS-based solution.
Is it possible to have your record (InDesign and epub), so I tested on my machine because I tested it last night on another machine (iOS 10.9.5) and iBooks 1.0.1 I still have the problem then it mmme walking on Yosemite and iBooks 1.1.
Hi I have the vertical version working fine, but its not working horizontally for me, I see a scroll bar when the page first loads and if I'm quick I can scroll that, but I can't scroll the actual frame. Did you do anything different to make it work horizontally?
Unfortunately, there might not be any easy solution for horizontal scrolling for e-readers that use that gesture for changing page. Perhaps this is the very reason why Adobe hasn't yet came up with a way to make scrollable frames for FXL - the results are just not consistent across different environments.
