State of the Office- Leave of Absence

Hello everyone, Sabbat Coord here. Some rundown/info!

1. I will be proposing the packet update in June.

2. I will be proposing the EC Council/Consistory verdicts in June.

3. I have at least 1 bylaw update to propose in June as well, oversight fix since we made Prisci's into PCs.

All of these will likely be submitted by my interim SubCoord, Adam S, allow me to explain.

In May I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer, we caught it early, my prognosis is good, but I have surgery this Friday the 6th and will be on rest/recovery for the remainder of the month.

Graciously, Adam has accepted my request to steward the office during my time away from the Org to focus on recovery and next steps. As with myself, I have asked Adam to use Derek Howard to observe anything that might involve his own PCs requiring Sabbat Coord oversight.

Adam will helm the seat from June 6th-June 30th.

I will be answering all emails and emptying out the inbox before EOD June 5th, and relaying my intentions/instructions for anything left hanging to Adam at the same deadline.

If you have items that need attention, now is the time to bump them or send them in, if you have been waiting; my apologies I will get to it this week. 

Finally, while this feels incredibly awkward to me, I was told by several people to push past that feeling and just do it, I have started a GoFundMe that has traveled around a few spots already, I am hosting it for a full 30 days, I know that KONY has been honoring receipts for PvE retests and other games have signed on to do so as well. I am in a good position with care and support because of great friends, family, and a caring community of gamers who have likewise become my friends and family.

I am in a good position with my surgery and prognosis because I listened to my doctors, got an early check up, and reviewed my familiar medical records to identify I was at high risk, which lead to all the other stuff.
