This combo looks to be rarity 4, but I can't seem to find anything about approvals for this. Obviously I need a teacher, but who approves the learning of it? Is there a particular lore requirement to know this power exists?

The MET writeup is in the ravnos packet ( 2011 version). and in various books. The revised clanbook has it, and so does libellus sanguineus theives in the night. As far ad a lore level related to knowning of it existence, I think that is also in the ravnos packet. I will double check when I get home and let you know for sure.

Should have known to look there. I just did, and it says Ravnos clan only, but no specific requirements beyond that. I notice other combos require coord approval. Given that, I guess my ST can approve it. The lore write-up does not list any specifics regarding combo disciplines, so I guess the only question remaining is do I need a certain level of lore to know if these combos exist.

I would argue that KNOWING about that one isn't hard since its pretty well known to the point that I know non ravnos with it.
