New Toll System Installed on the Creek Turnpike

A new and first in the state toll system has been placed in operation on the Creek Turnpike at the Jenks (Peoria-Elm) exit. Called Plate Pay this system does not take cash. You either pay through a PikePass account or it takes a photo of your license plate.

A private company from Houston, TX then mails the registered owner of the vehicle an invoice. If you don't pay the invoice Plate Pay will notify the state of Oklahoma and they will flag your license plate so when you try to renew your tag you will have to pay the toll invoices plus a penalty.

To travel from Yale to Jenks (Peoria-Elm exit) with a PikePass cost fifty cents. Through Plate Pay it cost $1.60 plus administration fees for a total of $3.00...six times the PikePass rate.
