Hi there,

I am in the process of creating a broken full-Javascript-stack webapp which has a RESTful backend (Node/Express) with a RIA frontend (Angular/Bootstrap). It is available here:

Latest stable release (looking and clicking around is fine, just no active scanning/manual brute force attacks here please):

Sources:

Docker Container:
https://registry.hub.docker.com/u/bkimminich/juice-shop/ (uses CentOS but the app should also run on Ubuntu)

If you would like to have a look at it and decide if it is mature enough to get on the OWASP BWA-image, feel free to do so! If I can help with this (or do it myself completely) please let me know how! :-)

Cheers,

@bkimminich

Thank you for letting me know about your application and apologies that I missed this message back in October. I will attempt to incorporate the Juice Shop application into the next version of the OWASP BWA VM and will reach out if I run into any issues getting it to work.

FYI, my default set up for applications is to pull directly from public source code repositories when they are available. In your case, the VM will pull directly from https://github.com/bkimminich/juice-shop. Let me know if that may be an issue.

Chuck

Hi Chuck,

did you run into any problems pulling from https://github.com/bkimminich/juice-shop.git and building directly? If you have a current node 0.10.x in your VM it should work fine. Please let me know if you need any support with strange build errors or other stuff!

Cheers,
Björn
