Since you requested feedback...BWA 1.1.1 seems to be working perfectly fine on Oracle VirtualBox.  I have it running it on VirtualBox 4.2.16 on Windows 7.

Thanks for this great resource Chuck.

Can you upgrade virtualbox to 4.3?

What version of BWA are you using?

Can you give me the step by step of how you import your VM into VB?

I upgraded to 4.3 and it works, however I have troubles to configure the network to be able to browse it from my host computer. I use NAT and it gives me a 10.0.2.15 address which I cant access. I tried using a different configuration like
Internal Network (no Ip is shown) or Host only adapter which doesnt show any option to select "name" so it is an invalid configuration. On another windows machine I managed to make it work using Host only adapter. Any ideas?

thanks

Edgar

I solved it by doing this:

In VirtualBox > Preferences > Network, set up a host-only network.

Mine is called vboxnet0, it is manually configured:
ip 192.168.56.1
netmask 255.255.255.0
no dhcp
