Hi,

Is there an API to get a new IP from a given IP pool? I didn't find it in the docs. If it's not there, Is it easy to expose it somehow?

Hello ,

There is no API to obtain first free IP from given IP pool. But
moreover there is no such functionality even in UI, you should select
the IP manually. If you think that such functionality will be "nice to
have" please add an issue to issue tracker.

It's already in issues:

The functionality will be appreciated. Another functionality that would be great is if we could add details like rack numbers and switch ids to machines that host VMs. This would help in balancing VMs that run the same components across racks/switches etc. I'm not sure what's the best way to visualize it. But it'll be a great help in automatically adding VMs in the right place.
