How to transfer your data from your old phone to your new phone?

A) Using automatic cloud backup
If both of your phones have a newer version of Android then in most cases your data will be automatically backuped on your old phone and restored on your new phone when you first install your phone and configure the same Google account. This automatic backup uses Android's built-in cloud backup feature, but unfortunately this does not work reliably on all phones and it could also happen that the restored data is not your latest backup.

B) Backup/restore through email
If you have Pro features purchased you can do the following steps:

BACKUP:
1. press menu button -> "Backup/Restore" -> "Backup to email"
2. send the OVU backup file to yourself

RESTORE:
3. install OvuView on your new phone and go to Live mode
4. make sure that your Pro features are already restored on your new phone (see https://groups.google.com/d/msg/ovuview/qnepO8XvzOw/lj60aYCO7RcJ if your pro features were not restored automatically)
5. open your email app on your new phone and click on the OVU file attachment
6. select OvuView app to open with and OvuView will automatically restore your data

C) Backup/restore through SD card
If you don't have Pro features purchased then you should do the following steps:

BACKUP:
1. press menu button -> "Backup/Restore" -> "Backup to SD card"
3. go into folder /mnt/sdcard/OvuView/backup
(choose one of the cases a/b/c/d:)
4-a. long touch on the latest backup file and select action "Send" and send the OVU backup file to yourself by email
4-b. copy the latest backup file from /mnt/sdcard/OvuView/backup to your PC using a USB cable
4-c. move your SD card from your old phone to your new phone (make sure that the OvuView backup folder is on your external SD card and not on your internal)
4-d. copy the OVU backup file to Dropbox using the file manager

RESTORE:
(choose you case:)
5. install OvuView on your new phone and go to Live mode
6-a. if the OVU backup file is in your email:
open your email app on your new phone, click on the OVU file attachment and choose OvuView app to open with
6-b. copy the OVU file from your PC to your new phone using a USB cable
6-d. open the OVU file from your Dropbox app, which will offer OvuView app to open with
7. if the OVU backup file is on your SD card: open a file manager and open the OVU attachemnt by selecting "Open with" option and choosing OvuView app. OvuView will automatically open and restore your data
