Why should you set it?:

A. If you are pregnant then all fertility details, notifications,
predictions will be turned off
B. If you had a miscarriage then you can mark that cycle to be
excluded from further predictions and statistics

Steps:

0. To set pregnancy/miscarriage on a cycle requires the Pro version of
OvuView
1. Press menu button -> Cycles
2. Expand the cycle where pregnancy/miscarriage has occured
3a) For pregnancy select "pregnancy" from the combobox
3b) For miscarriage select "disabled" from the combobox

Hi,

I do have the Pro version of OvuView and found out I was pregnant a couple of months after buying it that so I'm pretty happy with the relaese of this new feature :)
I obviously want to use the pregnancy feature, however, when I expand the last cycle I started recording, the combo box says disabled and I cannot select pregnancy. Is there anything I'm doing wrong ?
TIA for any help on this,

Phoebe
(still trying to find some time to translate the app into French, hopefully this should happen when I finally stop working to be on maternity leave...)

Phoebe,

it seems you have found a bug, (which is in the meantime already
fixed) and will be part of the next bugfix release. About pregnancy
mode, please note that currently (version 2.0.0) there is no
functional difference between "disabled" and "pregnancy" state, it is
the subject of upcoming releases to add more useful features for our
pregnant users.

Best regards,

After the birth is there a way to set lactational amenorrhea? That would be helpful. I like to start temping at 6 months postpartum but generally don't see any menses until after one year. I do want to track the temps but don't want it included in the calculations.

Currently, OvuView does not support breast feeding infertility, but we
will add some basic setting for that (at least to don't show
predictions) together with other pregnancy features in the future.

Hello,

to resolve the issue, please send us:
1. the date of the cycle start
2. the date of the miscarriage

Thanks,

I have had the pro version for a while and I recently as pregnant and had my baby. However when I went to add the birth date to finish the pregnancy cycle it gave me a date and it won't let me set the date. If I choose the date given it works but if I adjust the date and hit save it just keeps resetting the date. How do I fix this issue?

I had my baby, how do I tell the app this so it resets?

Hi Christy,

just go to cycles and there you should input the date of delivery. Then the so called 'postpartum cycle' takes place (until the first menses).
