Can't restore data from SD Card on my new phone --

This is a typical problem on new generation phones having 2 SD cards
(one internal and one external). The internal SD card is mapped to
folder "/mnt/sdcard" and the external SD card is usually mapped to
folder "/mnt/sdcard-ext". During restore OvuView tries to access path
"/mnt/sdcard/OvuView" but the backup files are located on path "/mnt/
sdcard-ext/OvuView", so OvuView can't file anything.
To workaround this issue, please, use a file manager (e.g. this
lightweight: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.speedsoftware.explorer
) to copy the OvuView folder from from one SD card to the other.

Hi I am having a similar problem I cant find information prier to this month up until December this continues to happen. Could it have be sent to lost? I am a paid customer. currently use S3 previous phones i had were lg esteem and samsung  galaxy S for metropcs, maybe this is the issue as well please help

Jojo,

it seems that your previous backups from december till july will be
stored on your previous phone's internal sd card. this way it was not
transferred to your new phone through your sd card.

Hi

Im trying to transfer my data to a new phone. Ive followed the advice given above but im still getting the error message "Missing backup file to restore from" when I select the restore from sd option. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

So sorry ive solved my own problem! Had left app in demo mode and now ive switched to live ive been able to restore my data *blush*

You may need to take the lock off un encrypt ur sd card so that another phone can see it if save it all on another recommended app like my day and then use the transfer/upload option for choices and it should work if not put the card back in the old phone and email all the info 2 ue email nad save then had add thats all u can do this happens when u cahnge brand of phone each phone using diff. Prog. To input and read info the new phone wont beable to read info on sd if not the same brand dumb but true
