My review with two feature suggestions: birth control methods and intercourse times

Hi all!

I have been using OvuView to help me with natural family planning for about two months now. I LOVE the vast array of birth control methods available and the customization options! This is the best NFP application I have found to date. Thank you for an informative and convenient app!

I do have two suggestions that would make my experience even smoother, and thought I would share in case others felt the same. First, I would love to be able to specify which methods of birth control were used during intercourse. My husband and I alternate between diaphragm, withdrawal, or none on "safe days". During the first month, I marked the days of intercourse but I couldn't remember which methods we used on which days. Since then, I have been marking it manually in the "notes" section. A feature dedicated to birth control methods would be greatly helpful for me! Others might use additional methods like condoms, day after pill, etc. 

I would also appreciate being able to mark down times of intercourse. Here is why: I experience ovulation pain and spotting within hours of ovulating- if I were able to check my app and determine how many hours it's been since the last act of unprotected intercourse, it would make it easier for me to calculate my likelihood of pregnancy. If I ovulate on the 15th, and all I have is an PM indicator of intercourse from the 13th, AND I'm not sure which method of birth control was used that day (if any at all), it might cause me to worry that I'm pregnant when this could have been avoided with input of further details. These two additions to your app would make it an absolutely perfect experience for me! Hope this helps in your future development, and thank you again for an amazing app!

I completely agree. I would especially love to see a feature to record birth control method.
