Hello,
I have just downloaded the app and I have 2 questions.

1. I switched from demo to live version, but can't find the option to toggle between the two as mentioned in the information prior to download.

2. How do I insert information in the demo to the live version as mentioned in the information prior to download?

Thanks in advance for your help! So far I like this app! I have another fertility tracker in my phone and one on my pc and I want to see how they will all compare! Thanks again!

Cheneille,

To answer your first question, we have extended the topic about {demo|live} modes by the actions you have to take to switch from demo to live and back.

Importing data entered in demo mode into the live database will require a bit of work on your part. This is so, since (as we describe in the welcome screens) the demo mode is there for you to experiment only. It was never meant to be used for real data. To move data from demo mode to live mode, you would have to:
1. backup the data while in demo mode (this will create /ovuview/backup-demo.csv on your phone's SD card),
2. open this file in a spreadsheet editor (e.g. excel) to edit/remove entries,
3. save the edited file as /ovuview/backup.csv on your phone's SD card (this is the backup file name used in live mode),
4. switch the application mode to live in ovuview,
5. restore data (this will read the file saved previously in step three).

Best regards,

UPDATE:
In the latest versions of OvuView we have changed the backup format, so please use the following steps instead:

1. choose "Export to email" while in Demo mode and select all data to be exported without charts and send it to yourself (this will send you an email with a CSV file attachment),
2. open this file in a spreadsheet editor (e.g. excel) to edit/remove entries,
3. save the edited file as /ovuview/backup.csv on your phone's SD card (this is the backup file name used in live mode),
4. switch the application mode to live in ovuview,
5. select "Restore from SD card" and choose the last entry: backup.csv

OR

3. send the edited file to yourself by email
4. switch application mode to live in ovuview,
5. in your phone's mail application click to download the CSV file attachment (it will open OvuView and will import the CSV)
