Hello!
I love your app! But recently I saved my ovuview to my sd card and
then put the card into a new phone and now it's not coming up on the
phone...?
I'm very worried that my data is gone, can you please help me??
Thanks for creating this awesome app!

Hello,
some of the new Android phones have 2 SD cards: one INTERNAL (
/mnt/sdcard/ ) and one EXTERNAL ( /mnt/sdcard-ext/ ) and in Android
settings you can choose which of these two sdcard is the primary.
OvuView in Live mode does daily automatic backups to the primary SD
card, so if you want to transfer your data from one phone to another,
make sure that you set in Android system to use the EXTERNAL sdcard as
primary (on BOTH phones!).
To check where is the backup file located you can use a simple file
manager ( e.g. this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedsoftware.explorer ).
If you were in Live mode and hadn't turned off daily automatic backups
then your data should be available on one of the following two
locations:
- /mnt/sdcard/OvuView/backup
- /mnt/sdcard-ext/OvuView/backup
( OvuView also supports Android's cloud backup feature which backups
your data to the cloud but that will work on newer phones, as some of
the older phones did not supported it )
