Lawyerh still thinking/searching of YKS dramas/movies? IKR it's hard to decide which one but i really liked him also in BTC drama! I still hv to check his other projs i've missed over the years, coz i was bz fangirling other K actors here & there hahaha! That's one sad part these K actors are all handsome & i often hv this w/drawal syndrome both from them & their dramas! I think nobody can even cure this addiction unless Dr. Kang came to my rescue!

anyone who also love Godiva chocolates here? i love them plus i'm also a big fan of Belgian chocolates hmmm yummy! I'm not endorsing them i hope otherwise, they need to give me some kinda compensation

@hibiscus23, @thanie, @Lawyerh, What is with kdramas that makes us swooning over the male leads and making us into fangirls? I have not really watched YKS older projects and watching some of this g.o.d reality show where they hiked in Spain (?). Most have no subtitles but I just want to see how he is in real life.

Was it you @hibiscus23that a photo of him on older days with a slimmer face? Hehehe, I know right? Even I thought his face seemed rounder as the production was coming to an end. Can see that he looked a little rounder in their post production interviews and press conference.

Btw he looks so young in this, OMG!

In chocolate there are scenes where he looks young and after episode 14 first half (when he is in the kitchen with CY), he starts looking older eg: the scene with Jun where they both are having soju.

And I do think the actor Yoon Kye Sang is hot property because of the Chocolate director's vision of him. He did things to him which would make anyone into his fangirl/boy.

I want to see some nice drama too but nothing compares and gets me out of chocolate mode

Too many things & so little time so i dunno how i can manage bc am still wanting to finish Choco & see more of Dr. Kang!

i'm now mid epi 10 (just taking a short brk to chat here hahaha) and am getting impatient bc these two are still not in a romantic scene LOL If you guys don't see me for a while (here) u know i'm buried with Chocolate (not literally the candy chocolate hahaha)

chingoos, just a quick quick brk and a short one, i can't help but share it w/you guys that now on epi 11 i love these scenes where DK is helping CH in the kitchen and she's about to put the apron on him! woah daebak daebak scene! i'm almost done with epi 11 & not wasting time but i think these two are about to start their romance so guys allow me to finish epi 11 & i'll be right back

@thanie@Lawyerh this will be one of my fave scenes yet hahaha woah i'm starting to really go crazy with these two! I wouldn't mind cooking if someone like Dr Kang will be in the kitchen with me! kekeke

@hibiscus23, One Perfect Day was actually very short ... like, 30 minutes or more. I wished it was longer. On the first half of the film, I was like ... "Hahahahaha! Hehehehehehe!" LaughTrip, Sis! I won't tell you any of it so as not to spoil your guilty pleasure. I'm stuck at Ep. 6 since we're kind of busy here due to CNY, the whole PH on a holiday. Hurray for today!!! No Work ... more on Pleasure and unli Foods! Enjoy Chocolate, Sis. Don't consume too much, it can cause cavities! And you're absolutely right ... too many kdramas/film to watch yet so little time ....

Just enjoy your w/end & the unli food you made me hungry! even this drama makes me salivate with CY's cooking & all that, i just crave now for K foods hahaha

@Lawyerh you seem to be doing marathon again chingoo? hahaha i think by either tomorrow i'll finish Choco drama, i can't wait to see them getting closer/closer in the next episodes! I'm asking thanie also about that song or ost at the end of ep 11 do you happen to know that one? i like it v much!

Adding an additional comment: I found the birthday party kisses between CY&LK quite memorable. It was sudden yet casual. It did not feel lustful, in contrast, it felt healing, assuring, and protective. It characterized the deeper love shared between the two characters. Don't know the exact words to describe, but it felt different in a good way.

The soundtrack photo album for Chocolate looks great! I love it. I usually dont buy ost for shows but for this drama, the ost & the bgm is really good."Always be here" is on loop on my apple playlist. Such a beautiful song. The photobook plus cd looks very enticing! It has so many goodies! And a photocards of the main trio! Oh poor LJ, he deserves better parents.

here you go... that pink apron is still the best scene for me. So heart fluttering. I will remember it for long time. Yeah slowburn romance, but I really love it and many kdrama nowadays just have a fast & instant romance, which I often not into it.

@Lawyerh I agree with you with that 'slowburn romance' as you said etc. This has more deeper kinda different compared to instant romance in other kdramas we've seen! i luv luv that scene with their apron hug as they quote it and i really think they hv a great chem in this drama! BTW is that the ost fr what i was liking in the end of ep 11? i really am convinced the OSTs of Chocolate is one of the best i've heard! Re BTC i may hv to re-watch it since i can't remember exactly what the story is all about LOL!

The thing about Chocolate is that it was helmed by a very strong director & editing. The direction in the visual storytelling, cinematography & slight movements in the camera work was just *chefs kiss*! The gifset you provided is perfect example, from the different angle/close up shots with the head touch & thumb nudging her side. The paneling shot to shot is so subtle but super effective visually, evoking the feelings between CY & LK onscreen without words. The directing style for Chocolate is my absolute fav. & the show has some of the most beautiful storytelling visuals that I've seen in any drama in a while.

You see, I went to check immediately his other works when I'm stuck at Ep. 6 with Choco. I never knew he could play both a Comedic and Serious characters in one story. I have to agree with @Lawyerh, his role as Dr. Lee Kang may be his best so far. It suits him really well ... cold, distant, withdrawn ... again, I can't afford to strip this guy with his decency. Unlike with what our Comrades did with Hyun Bin, Gosh, they almost raped him with their words ...

Hibs, Sis! You're enthusiasm with this drama went off the chart, lol. You're amazing, really! Do you still have plan to return to CLOY 's thread? I enjoy reading all your post though. They're kind of spoiling me a bit but I totally understand ...

i only notice her when she was second female lead in shine or go crazy.. and i liked her role in there.. but the recent fiery priest, i dun fancy the noisy set so i stopped less than half way through ep1

Honey Lee, shes very talented, specifically in traditional/folk music. I believe she went to study it in college. She has an amazing voice. If you seen/know the drama 'Rebel who stole the People's heart', she sings one of the main theme song & it's beautiful. She sings/plays traditional instruments in the drama too. HL should definitely sing more ost for historical/period tv shows.
