When I first used Dropbox a few years ago, as soon as I took a photo on my androad phone the photo would be uploaded to my dropbox and synced to my PC. Nowadays I can take a picture on my android in the home (with connected wifi) and when I hover over the dropbox icon on the PC it states "Dropbox Up to date" it can be hours before the system decided to upload/Sync. Is there a way I can force it to upload/sync now please?
Thanks Jay. It is set to upload when camera battery level is at 30%, mine is at 75% and when on wifi. Mine is on wifi. Can't really take a snapshot and upload, that is the whole point of this posting!!
I can't explain this but all I did was open the app on the phone (not change any settings) and then all of a sudden it started uploading to the PC. Restarted phone. Tested again and it appears to be uploading automatically again. Strange.
The issue is that Dropbox arbitrarily doesn't do camera uploads for hours, days, possibly ever. The best response from Dropbox is to fix their software so it does. The next best response is to inform customers that they can trigger an upload by opening the Dropbox app on the phone and tap the Photos tab. The lousy support response is to ask a bunch of stupid questions and then tell them how to manually upload photos.
This isn't working for me. rebooted the phone and still nothing. I'm able to manually upload stuff, but I want to be able to force the automatic upload. Because if I manually uploaded them, whenever the stupid app decides to do the auto upload it will create a second copy of the file.
Why can't I just force it to trigger the manual upload? I really only use Dropbox for camera backup, but if it can't do this anymore I guess it might be time to look elsewhere.
You can upload videos to YouTube in a few easy steps. Use the instructions below to upload your videos from a computer or from a mobile device. Uploading may not be available with supervised experiences on YouTube. Learn more here.
I'm setting up a system where we record short videos on a mobile, and upload them to a sheet using a form on the smartsheet app. This is to get round the lengthier process of plugging the phone in to a computer and uploading it via windows to the smartsheet.
You are correct, the attachment size limit is 30mb when uploading either through a Form, Mobile App, or by a Free user. (Please see the chart at the bottom of this Help Article: Attach Files - Supported file types, file sizes, and other requirements.)
Thanks @KevinD. I gathered that from the OP. I'd just never thought about using that option for Concur but it makes sense that it exists. I've always used Concur as my starting point and uploaded from my gallery, rather than the other way around but I'm glad to hear that this issue is being fixed for those that use it differently.
I have 281 Photos on my Iphone, in LR Mobile that will not finish uploading to Adobe CC. I successfully uploaded & downloaded 175 others (in the same catalog) onto my PC from my phone, but the other 281 have stopped uploading. It has said "Pending" for weeks now. I have updated (mobile & desktop), restarted, logged in & out to no avail. I can also see on my PC that 281 files are "dowloading" but nothing ever changes. I'm not sure if the problem is with the upload (mobile) or download (PC). Maybe there is a way to re-fresh, or cancel & restart the sync? I would like to get the rest of the photos from my phone onto my PC, someone please help!
My problem has been solved. Apparently I had folders in my LR CC Mobile app that had pictures which were taken on an older phone. So when I switched phones and downloaded the app, logged in it showed all the same folders. Then I hit sync and the app tried to sync files which it couldn't find on my device and it got stuck. I went to lightroom.mobile.com and logged in, deleted the sync issue files, deleted the app and reinstalled it and... It works again! Hopefully this helps any of you guys.
S9+, same issue...it gets stuck even when uploading 1 single photo. I pay for this app and i really need to use it. Tried reinstalling it, worked for a few minutes with 3 photos, and then got stuck when uploading a new one.
I have had my iPhone plugged in and connected to Wifi for 3 days and nights, have logged off and back in on all devices, restarted. Refreshed Wifi etc and yet the photos don't seem to be uploading. It is a large photo Library but at this rate, it will take months to upload to the cloud. Is this really worth it?
Oddly, the percentage uploaded continues to increase and is now at 81%, despite the number of pending uploads remaining consistent at 838. And, yes, checked. no photos have synced with Lightroom CC on my Mac and none show up in LR cloud library in browser.
Seemed like my mobile-first workflow was going to speed things up and allow more flexibility. Instead continues to be one workaround after another. Now also getting constant requests to log in to Creative Cloud app every time i try to open CC file folder in iOS, despite being already logged in when i open the CC app on my phone.
Could you try the Lr CC mobile version 3.1 which we released to the app store a couple of days ago. We provided a fix which most probably could solve your issue. Let me know if it helps. - Guido/ Lr Mobile QE
Could you send us a Lr Mobile diagnostic log in case you still have a stuck upload. A Lr Mobile diagnostic log can be triggered when you open up the Lr Mobile settings via the top left Lr-icon and then navigate in to the Help&Support section and long-tab "Access our Support Forum"-entry and a diagnostic log will be generated and attached to your local mail client. Hope this helps to get a clue about your issue. -Guido/ LrMobile QE
I had 1000+ photos with Sync errors, I stopped (PAUSE) the iPad from syncing to the cloud, and continued to download photos to the iPad. When I returned from the trip, I had 2000+ photos total on the iPad, and resumed Sync at my house. First the new, non-Sync Error Photos went to the cloud, then over then next few hours, all of the previous Sync Errors (Except for the ones that Adobe support had me delete, they are GONE), resolved, and uploaded to the cloud.
With iOS 12 you need to upload photos to PHOTO (Apple's app) then import to LR CC. The PHOTO app will have a copy, and does sync to APPLE Cloud successfully on low quality internet where Adobe CC can not. They 'BACKUP' can be achieved via APPLE, and pause SYNC until you're on quality internet.
Whenever we upload JPG files into the files column on a board from an iPhone or iOS- it will always corrupt 3 of the 10 uploads randomly, or 3 of the 10 uploaded will go missing completely and not upload at all.
Is there any good solution for autouploading photos from my Android phone to my Synology NAS. I've tried DS Photo but it's really random when/if it actually uploads, looks extremely dated and the app has lousy reviews on the Play Store and hasn't been updated since 2019. As I couldn't trust the DS Photo app I've gone back to OneDrive but is this really the best that Synology has to offer? No proper mobile backup solution in 2021 seems kinda backwards.
I've tried uploading jpgs, and pdfs using Chrome, IE and the Tmobile Android app from my phone and still no luck. The files are tiny...less than 1mb. The file appears to upload when i attach it but when i click on Submit documentation i get the following error:
I too am having difficulty uploading my military verification. I have tried using chrome and the app. I have tried jpeg, pdf and png files. I have tried at various times of the day. I was advised to come in to a store. I am traveling at the moment and the answer should not be come to a store for a service you say you are providing. If you can't accept uploaded documents, don't say that you can. I also see Lauren's (@tmo_lmessage to have us as the customer reach out to another part of the organization to get it fixed. As a community manager, if there is an issue, should you not be raising it yourself internally? I am seriously questioning my decision to move to T-Mobile--not the greatest customer service just yet and that too to military. Please assist.
You're right to not feel the need to go to a store as the upload process is fully capable of being verified through the site or resolved by support, people just don't want to do extra for their job. Customer service always advises that and it just frustrates retail employees most of the time as they often have even less capabilities but because it's face-to-face support feels it is going to be easier to resolve the issue at your inconvenience. Also sucks for retail employees that work on commission to have to deal with customer service sending people their way that have no intent to buy or activated through customer service then get to deal with their issues.
I have been trying for weeks to upload my DD214. I am so frustrated at this point I am about to say forget it and go with another company. I have tried to call support and NO ONE can figure it out!!!!!! I don't even understand why I have to re-verify when military status does not expire. Once a veteran always a veteran. If I don't get resolution i will quit t mobile. I don't understand why there is not another way to get this form to your company!!!!!
