Similarto the 1978 Walt Disney Home Entertainment logo, but instead of the regular music, there is loud horror-type music played on electric keyboards and Moog synthesizers. The "Walt Disney" script text is in a ghostly shade of white, and "CLASSICS" in an ugly font zooms up at a fast pace underneath "Walt Disney." The music increases in suspense as after the Mickey outlines turn green, instead of fading out, the logo continues as the outlines continue rotating, then they turn lavender and begin to increase in rotating speed. Then they turn gray and spin even faster! Soon they slow down again, and then the outlines turn a scary white color, and then the outlines face us as an evil version of Mickey Mouse's face appears on the head, and Mickey begins laughing in an evil repeating high-pitched maniacal laugh as a bright flash is seen and smoke begins rising from the bottom. After laughing a bit, another flash is seen and Mickey claps his hands together, and Mickey and text both disappear in a puff of smoke as lighting flashes with booming thunder. Then the lightning is gone, the thunder fades and the smoke clears, and all that's left is a black screen.

This was seen on the earliest VHS releases of Disney feature films, in white clamshells that has the Walt Disney Classics print logo on top, featuring Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie and Daisy holding hands and strolling together under a happy sun and rainbow. It has been rumored that most of the videos featuring this logo were burned because the logo was so scary. Still used in the UK, however.


A digital HD remake of the 1988 Walt Disney Classics logo. It begin with a CGI Sorcerer Mickey standing in a blue spotlight on a black background. As it zoom up to his hand, Mickey raises up his arm a bit and blinks. The flying spark is now more detailed, moving a little slower, and has a bit of white pixie dust trailing from it. Instead of a blue background, it fades up to a violent-lavender gradient background with stars, and the diamond is more metallic (ala the 1988 prototype logo), and only zooms in slightly (as it appears a bit closer to the screen than the original). As the "Walt Disney" text continues writing and "CLASSICS" (in the same Lo-Type font as the original) zooms onto the diamond, semi-transparent clips from Pinocchio, Bambi, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King can be seen in the diamond, fading once the words change to gold. The magic comet has more of a gold color to it now, and when the text changes to gold, some fireworks explode in the background behind the diamond. The logo then "shines" until it fades out.


Another HD remake of the 1988 Classics logo, created as part of Disney's 100th anniversary celebration. This time, Sorcerer Mickey is rendered in hand-drawn animation, but still makes the same movements as the previous logo. As the silver metallic "Walt Disney" text writes on-screen, the blackness fades to a gradient sunset-colored background, followed by the metallic diamond fading and slowly zooming in. Instead of full clips of Disney's animated features taking place in the diamond, specific elements from clips overlap side by side on the diamond, showing bits from Pinocchio, Bambi, Lady and The Tramp, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Tangled, Frozen and Encanto. When the text changes to gold, fireworks still explode in the background and continue as the logo "shines" until it fades out.


The logo's animation was produced by Industrial Light & Magic and Disney Studios Content. Again, the music is the same as the 1988 logo, but now plays in clear quality as it sounded from 1989 to 1992, and the fireworks make the appropriate sound effects. It first appeared on the 2023 Disney100 Blu-ray, 4K Blu-ray and DVD releases of The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Zootopia and Moana, and is on all other Disney100 disc releases of the canon animated features, along with appearing on the Disney100 release of Toy Story. It also appears on disc releases of Strange World and Wish and the Disney Movie Club exclusive 70th anniversary Blu-ray release of Peter Pan.


'We see Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie, and Daisy holding hands together strolling under a happy sun and rainbow. After a few seconds, The logo pixelates and morphs into a color-changing 8-bit painting.


Same as the "Coming to Home Video" variation of the 1986 WDHV logo but instead of "Coming to Home Video", the text is replaced with "Feature Presentation" written in a Laser font. The music and sounds are the same as the 1996 Feature Presentation logo (thanks for joining us for this special preview variant).


Before the preview of The Nightmare Before Christmas in this VHS, the logo is the same as the Now on Videocassette logo from Robin Hood (WDMC, 1994), but says "Coming to Theatres". The audio is the same as the Coming to Theatres from Walt Disney Pictures logo, but with the 1989 Feature Presentation music.


The 1992 WDHV Feature Presentation logo takes place in the background of Jim Henson Video's 1993 Feature Presentation logo. Also, the music is the same as Jim Henson Video's Feature Presentation logo.


Disney's Haunted Mansion: Spookstravaganza (1995): The Feature Program logo is the same as the one in Disney's Haunted Mansion tapes, but the text is blood red and more uglier and more close-up than usual, the music is more horror-type than usual, and the announcer is also scarier than usual. Also, there are bats flying in the background, which is much darker than usual.


Fraggles on Wheels (1993 print): The Jim Henson Video logo is more close-up than usual and there's a subtitle below it saying "Feature Program" in a similar font to Jim Henson Video's Feature Program logo. Also, there's an announcer, possibly Mark Elliott, saying "And now, Jim Henson Video presents, our feature program, Fraggles on Wheels!"


The Muppets Meet the Fraggles (1994): The 1986 WDHV Presents logo plays, but Kermit the Frog replaces Sorcerer Mickey. The spark writes "Jim Henson" in a green Jim Henson font instead of "Walt Disney" in a red Walt Disney font. Also, "HOME VIDEO" is replaced with "PRODUCTIONS". Also, "Presents" is written in a white Laser font.


The Feature Program logo is the same as the one on the Disney's Haunted Mansion tapes, but the background is a black and white image of the Mickey Mouse Christmas wreath (as seen on the end credits for Disney's Sing-Along Songs: Twelve Days of Christmas).


My Brother the Creep! OVA: Uh Oh, Talent Show! (2010): After the OVA's end credits, we see a somewhat oddly arranged version of the 1986 Walt Disney Home Video logo. In this case, "Walt" rests above "Disney", both in red, and a somewhat smaller Sorcerer Mickey to the left of "Walt". The copyright information is below the logo in the Laser font (which was used for the Feature Presentation bumper). As it fades in, we hear the "Oh yeaaaaaahhhh" soundbite from The Aristocats. When the San Francisco network KTSF (leased access Fuji TV network) broadcast this, however, the Touchstone Television logo played over it, but kept the "Oh yeaaaaaahhhh" soundbite.


Stitch! Series One Set (January 5, 2011 on DVD): If the viewer neglects to skip the Disney DVD logo sequence chosen if they hit "Play All", they will see this; the 1992 FP logo plays but the words are in Japanese. Same will go on the other season box set DVDs. This even appears in between the third and fourth episodes during "Play All" mode.


The Sword in the Stone (April 6, 1993 Classics re-issue): Just after the 1992 WDHV logo, we see a screen that is identical to the Feature Presentation logo, but the text reads "Coming to Theatres Summer 1993 from Walt Disney Pictures". In this version, the audio from the "Coming to Theatres from Walt Disney Pictures" logo as seen on the 1990 VHS print of Peter Pan. This is shown before the trailer of Hocus Pocus.


After a Coca-Cola commercial, we see the 1986 Walt Disney Home Video without Mickey (the spark moving about) play (along with "presents" in white) but Mark Elliot says over it "Walt Disney Home Video asks you to stay tuned for four special previews after the main feature. You won't regret it!" The words "Home Video" fade out when the logo shines, and the words "Special Previews" fade in.


The Black Cauldron (Halloween 1993 VHS): Before the trailer for The Nightmare Before Christmas, we see the Touchstone Pictures logo with the text "Coming to Theatres this 1993 Holiday Season from" above the Touchstone logo. The music is the same as the "Coming to Theatres this 1992 Holiday Season" as seen on the Beauty and the Beast VHS except Mark Elliot says "Coming only to theatres this 1993 holiday season, an upcoming feature from Touchstone Pictures". After the trailer, we see the "Coming to Home Video" screen as seen on the 1992 VHS of The Rescuers.


After the VHS trailer for The Fox and the Hound (edited from the 1988 re-release trailer) and a Coca-Cola commercial, we see a still of the 1984 Walt Disney Classics logo but "THE CLASSICS" is replaced with the text "Stay tuned for previews after the feature" above the Walt Disney Home Video logo. The music and spiel from the "Special Previews" logo on the alternate print of the 1992 Beauty and the Beast VHS plays under this. The Feature Presentation logo plays afterward and the 1992 clean Walt Disney Classics logo plays after it, making it the first post-1992 VHS in the official "Classics" line to use the "clean" logo.


After the movie, we see the 1984 Classics logo, but after the music finishes, we hear Mark Elliot saying "Please stay tuned for a preview of several Disney releases". After that the logo fades to the Walt Disney Home Video logo sans "HOME VIDEO", instead, it has the text "In Theatres Summer 1994" and Mark Elliot says "Coming to movie theatres next summer." All the while, a remix of the 1986 WDHV logo (like on the 1992 101 Dalmatians VHS) plays under it. A trailer for The Lion King plays afterward, the same one featured on the VHS of Aladdin.
