Hi OVMTB,
I usually try to send out an email on Tuesday with the race details and general OVMTB highlights, but work had other plans for me… So I had to settle for a just quick message with the race details.
The State Championship race is at Wren Arena on the Ft. Huachuca base in Sierra Vista at Canelo Rd, Sierra Vista, AZ 85613
Prior to going, please make sure you print out your ‘base access pass’ from https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tuXYdxpV9kJVo8oOimCFfyoVkZIBgSS5/view
With this pass, you’ll be allowed to drive right up to the entrance gate and they will let you in. Keep in mind the Van Deman access gate is only open from 5:30am to 5:30pm Monday-Friday, but the Buffalo Soldier gate is open 24/7.
We’ll be doing a pre ride at 4:30pm Friday afternoon for our riders that are there. Afterwards we’ll set up our pit zone and will be participating in the league ‘trick or treat’ that begins at 5:30pm. We can also do a pre ride at 7:30am Saturday morning (middle schoolers or HS relay racers) and then we’ll do another preride at 4:00 pm Saturday for the high school riders, followed by a team dinner at 5:00pm.
