Ok, we're not there quite yet, but it's close. Like blink your eyes, bleed your brakes, lube your chain and it'll be here by the time you're done!

It's been a busy winter.  We had an off-season group of OVMTB'ers gathering up 3 times a week to ride practices and race NICA, along with lots of other individuals and families attending the MBAA races.  If you were at the Tucson 10'r, you surely saw lots of OVMTB kids and adults riding with several riders and even a particular OVMTB family up on the podium.  The 24HOP also had quite a few OVMTB members racing and volunteering.  No sir, no rest for this crowd during the offseason, y'all stayed busy riding!

Your board members have been busy doing boardy things too.  We recently had our annual meeting with our executive directors (Cody, Kit and Jed).  We reviewed how 2025 went, and informed them that all of our regular board members and head coaches have agreed to return for 2026, so no new elections were required. Your returning dream team is:
Kendra Vossler- President
Katie McMurrich- Vice president
Dawn Kasmar- Secretary
Laura Jewett- Treasurer
Ryan Vossler- CDO Head coach
John Mount- Ironwood head coach
Ryan McCoskey- Head coach, OV Composite head coach

A few of the executive board members were ready to hand over the reins, so your own Kendra Vossler and John Mount stepped up to take on the additional role of being Executive board members as well. When you see them, tell them thanks- we couldn't ask for better people to be on the Executive board.

For you, our OVMTB families, we have a few to-do's coming up.

1. Coach registration is open.  Returning coaches and potential new coaches, send me a separate email and I'll get you the registration link and required passcode. For those interested in being a level 2 or 3 coach, there is an in person MTB101 course coming up April 4th here in Oro Valley.  Let me know if you're interested and I'll email you the link.  You'll need to be registered, and have the level 1 online courses done before the April 4th class. Hopefully you already saw the messages on TeamSnap and WhatsApp in regards to the class.

2. Rider registration opens April 1st and will be open till the beginning of the season.  We'll be sending out more details soon.

3. Let your friends know what's about to get started and tell them to come check it out.  We'll be announcing dates for our meet and greet soon too.

4. If you're wanting to get involved in any way, from board member to coach to event coordinator to (you tell me what or how you'd like to help...) just let me know.  Our organization only functions because of awesome volunteers that aren't afraid to dive right in.

5. Lastly, if you would like to be removed from the email list just send me a quick email, and I'll assist in ushering you towards a life without OVMTB emails....

That's all I've got for you right now- looking forward to getting things rolling again!

Ryan
