You're probably still bleeding your brakes after reading my last email, so I thought this would be a great time to send out a save the date email for some upcoming events. Ideally you've already cleared your entire calendar for OVMTB season, so this should be easy to fit right in there:

Other important dates
4/1/2026 Rider registration opens
4/23/2026 Coaches and new coaches meeting
5/2/2026 Meet and Greet at Big Wash
5/7/2026 Parents meeting @ Basis
5/9/2026 Pedal girl Pedal in Tucson
6/2/2026 June Skills clinic 1
6/9/2026 June Skills clinic 2
6/16/2026 June Skills clinic 3
6/23/2026 June Skills clinic 4
7/7/2026 First season practice!

Just a note- Rider registration opens April 1 (no joke) and is open till July 25th.  We like to have all riders registered by sometime in June, so no rush to get up on April 1 and try to sign up your rider.  I'll send out an email with all of the registration info in the next few weeks.

Till next time,
Ryan

Hello OVMTB,

If you're still bleeding your brakes from that first email, it's probably time to give up and just take it to a bike shop.  There was no shame in trying, but we've got other things we need you to attend to now(hahaha!).  The first few OVMTB events are quickly sneaking up, and I probably should have sent out this email last week...

Our coaches meeting is this Thursday, 6pm-7pm at El Molinito located at 10180 N Oracle Rd, Oro Valley, AZ 85737.  If you're planning to help coach this year or are considering coaching this year, please come out and join us. They've got a large back room that we'll have all to ourselves so we can discuss the upcoming season, introduce a few new coaches, and even have some dinner if you like (on your own tab, sorry!).

The OVMTB Meet and Greet is set for May 2nd, 9am at Big Wash.  This is the perfect event for anyone that is interested in finding out a bit more about OVMTB .  If you rode with us last year, please come out and help us show what OVMTB is all about.  It'll be set up in the parking lot at the Big wash trailhead very near 1880 E Rancho Vistoso Blvd, Oro Valley, AZ 85755 .  We'll spend some time meeting new riders, doing some quick skills and games, then go on a short fun ride.  It's a great chance to get to see the group in action plus meet some of the parents and coaches.  Even better, it's totally free and no commitment required, just make sure to bring your bike and a helmet. Let me know if you have a potential rider that wants to participate but doesn't have a bike or helmet, we can help with that!

Look forward to seeing you all soon,

Ryan
