CompAndSaveis proud to offer affordable prices on our replacement HP ENVY Inspire 7220e ink cartridges that boast genuine-like quality and satisfaction. Why choose CompAndSave in shopping for HP 7220e ink cartridges?

HP ENVY Inspire 7220e printer uses the standard yield HP 64 black and tri-color ink cartridges. This printer is also compatible with the high yield HP 64XL black and tri-color ink cartridges. CompAndSave offers replacement HP 64 and HP 64XL ink cartridges that can match the OEM's specifications but at a much lower price.

HP ENVY printers use different kinds or models of ink cartridges. To know the model number of the cartridge your Envy printer is using, you may check the user's manual that came with your printer. You may also check the existing cartridge that is installed in your printer. In front or on the side is a label or sticker with the model number, which usually consists of alphanumeric characters. For example, the HP Envy Inspire 7220e printer uses an ink cartridge that has the model code of HP 64 for the standard yield and HP 64XL for the high yield. If you need help finding the compatible cartridge for your printer, just click What Ink Does My Printer Use and you will be redirected to the right page.

Yes, you can. You just need to have the right instruction and tools in order to do so. But to avoid issues, we highly suggest you replace any empty ink cartridges. CompAndSave offers a wide variety of cheap printer ink cartridges at a much lesser price without compromising its quality. Our cartridges are manufactured to meet or exceed the OEM specifications, which will save you from all the trouble of going through the process of refilling an ink cartridge. If you need step-by-step instructions on how to refill your ink cartridge, just click How to Refill Ink Cartridge and you will be redirected to the right page.

I have created the necessary shortcut for my HP Envy Inspire 7220e to scan to an email address. Even though the printer manages to send instructions for the use of shortcut to my email address, the printer fails to scan to an email address with the following message:

I deleted all shortcuts and added a shortcut via HP Smart on my pc. Since I was giving the option to execute this shortcut now, I started it from HP Smart. To my surprise the printer started scanning and it did send the scan result now to my email address.

Next I ran the shortcut again from the printer control panel, which again resulted in the first message in the regional language (Internal processing error). Trying a second time resulted again in the Connection Problem message (in English).

I created a shortcut for scanning a picture and upload the file to Google Drive. The same problem occurs. Executing the shortcut in HP Smart works fine. Executing the shortcut from the control panel of the printer gives exactly the same 2 error messages as with scan to email.

Step 2: On the printer settings page, go to Scan > scan to email > Select your email address > Edit > Authenticate > Email login authentication > Input new password > Next > Save and Test

I deleted all HP printer software and re-installed it. I used HP Easy Start to install the complete driver and tools package. Even though I got an error message in HP Easy Install, the program continued and reported that the installation was successful. Printer and scanning works. I can scan from the printer control panel as well as from various apps on my PC.

That is not the problem. The problem lies in the shortcuts. Neither of them work if I start them on my printer. Not only the Scan to email shortcuts, but also the Scan & Print and Scan and save to computer shortcuts.

So either there is a problem in the firmware of the printer (I have the latest version) or HP Easy Start missed something while installing. HP Print and Scan Doctor comes up with an error message that says that there was an error with Device Registration. So maybe I am missing a Registry setting that causes the problem. I see that HP Easy Start creates logfiles, so maybe there is a clue in one of these logfiles.

Solved my problem. I uninstalled the printer on my iMac computer and it now prints directly from word documents. I initially used the new HP Smart app on the computer to install the printer; given that my computer hadn't installed it directly I suspected the drivers weren't installed correctly to print from the computer. This information should have been in the setup guide especially when you're paying for instant ink as it took printing off eleven pages and 2 hrs of searching the internet to realise what the problem might be. Hope this information is helpful to others.

I had a very similar problem. I used the HP Smart app already installed (for my now defunct old printer) on my iMac with Sonoma 14.3 to set up my new Envy Inspire 7220e. It seemed to go smoothly with the WiFi setup and the alignment page printed okay. But I could then only print in black/white - and couldn't find any way to modify this. Eventually, and helped by the post from Owl110, I used the iMac system settings / printers & scanners function to delete the installed 7220e, switched the printer off & on and then added it again via this iMac printers function. Colour prints were produced straight away from various sources on the iMac. So my advice is to avoid using the HP Smart app for this.

I have a new HP Envy Inspire 7220e Printer. I am trying to print an image about 7cm x 7cm, 3 to a page on a Publisher document) where the image is black with an orange logo on. There are black streaks acrioss the image about 1.5cm apart which extends out to right of image and a little across to the left.

I have genuine HP Ink Cartridges, I have printed a Printing Quality Diagnostic page (there is feint black streak across between 5. and 6. I have done 'Clean Cartridges' and 'Align Cartridges' which are fine.....??

If you are using different (fancy / nicer) paper for the final result, perhaps try first printing one page of the Publisher document that contains a single image on plain paper. The print quality on plain paper might not be superior, but the streaking might (should) be gone.

If you are not using top-shelf paper, that is, Brochure / Profession paper, any results might be less than stellar for the final product. Some image files do not tend to look "best" on plain office paper.

Thank you so much for your reply. I eventually decided to take the ink cartridges out and give the 'contacts' a gentle clean. I then turned the printer off for a few minutes. When I turned it back on, I took your advice and oriented onto plain A4 paper before printed onto t-shirt transfer paper. Streaks have gone now, so....let's hope it's problem solved!
