Hey everyone.

Rick posted this big long apology on the monopole group regarding the
last conference. I'm reposting it here in case any of you are not part
of that group.

The main thing I want you guys to read from it is in paragraph 4-5
where Rick explains that the 30 coiler didn't run because they rushed
the assembly instead of making sure each coil worked and was added on
One by One.

I must again apologize for not having the 30 coiler finished for the
last
convention. Les Pastor donated it for our research last year and came
all the
way out to see it running. I wish I could have presented it to
everyone and
thank him in front of everyone. I did my best to get to it on time but
my
helpers were not able to get it running in time even though we worked
on it
during the Convention. In the meantime I noticed that the coil wires
were not
correctly installed so that the wires were reversed in places and
coils were
opposite to others.

I only had one hour to get it running at 5-6AM the day of the
convention, and
found other problems with it that consumed my time. Since Luther and I
had been
up all night it wasn't easy to troubleshoot and I missed that mistake
due to the
coils having the clear shrink warp around them and assuming that was
done right.
The guys then attempted to work on it later with limited results. This
you all
saw as it only turned slowly.

Well I had decided to combine 4 of the 8 strands of #23 wires per coil
together
as an experiment and to reduce circuits and get this project done in
time. It
appears that my new staff mixed up the ends being soldered together,
where one
end has all 8 together going to the primary positive junction, while
the other
would have two groups of 4 going to each collector on two circuits.
Well, the
master coil itself was reversed! So naturally the whole thing was not
going to
work right. If you reverse the primary, it will run by itself, but as
soon as
you add another coil that is right, the timing will be out.

A few weeks prior to the Convention I had it running on 3 coils and it
worked
just as expected as Peter L. has reported elsewhere. Unfortunately I
did not
have time to finish that project myself and it was just too late by
the time the
other guys attempted to work on it.

But I am reporting on this because everyone is owed an explanation and
it is
helpful for people on this list to know what can even happen to us who
have been
doing this for years. One word of advice is to start with one coil at
a time and
make sure all works well before you add more coils one at a time. With
lack of
time this was decided against and then it didn't work. The whole last
few days
were a gamble in each project we were working on. Jeff had to clean up
my 10
coiler to run with the battery swapper. John was working with Dave on
finishing
the Big wheel which I had built with him over several months. Dave
also was
working on the 30 Coiler attachment and doing misc. machining for us.
Josh and
others were running around getting parts and trying to help with
several
projects. It was awesome to see it all coming together even though I
stressed
everyone out to the point that I was not the favorite person in the
shops. No
one believed I could get the lawn mower running in only two days and
everyone
told me to not work on it. I knew I could do it and did do it with the
critical
last minute help of Jeff and the others in the last half hour before
we drove it
to the convention!

Anyway, John made the early decision, after I had published on the web
page add
about the 30 coiler being there, to work long and many hours on the
big wheel
surprise project. I had not planned to spend as much time on that
therefore the
30 coiler had to wait till the last minute. It was beyond my control
and I am
sorry if people were disappointed. And I had to have the lawn mower
running as a
key showpiece that was relatively easy for me to finish up. I just
assumed we
could have finished up the 30 coiler at the same time. And we would
have if the
first mistake had not been made.

Anyway, we got the lawn mower done, the big wheel done, and the 10
coiler done
and the EV car done as planned. These were phenomenal showpieces and I
think
everyone was satisfied with these enough. I also rushed just in time
the new
Rejuvenator version 2 which is now shipping. I also finished up my
car, which
was not done on time; so I had to spend much time on that myself to
finish it up
for the Convention.

Unfortunately the new 4 and 12 Coiler were not finished and only
partly
assembled for people to see. Only a few people have ordered these so
with all
the stress on Steve to do this last minute convention kits and
projects all the
orders slowed and stopped for a few months and we could not do these
new big
kits till now. We have also had to make a slight change to the rotor
from what
we displayed at the convention.

We also had planned for the new production window motor to be revealed
at the
Convention. We only showed the case displayed on the stage off to the
right of
the podium. All these and more will be displayed and running in July.
Also the
new 3 pole kit was done, but the biggest disappointment was my mixup
in parts
ordering of magnets and somehow a few other parts went missing. I also
did not
have the new schematic ready as a last minute oversight. I did not get
the kits
until a few days previous, and Tom and I were finalizing the circuit
for 9V
batteries days before. So sorry folks, as it was difficult to balance
priorities
at that time. We have learned a lot, and no one but myself believed it
was going
to be as good as it actually turned out to be.

Anyway, the big wheel was decided on to replace the focus of the 30
coiler and
that was beyond my control. It was so impressive that after John
presented it
there was nothing else that could be done to gain people's attention
even if I
had the 30 coiler running. So John and I opened up the meeting for
everyone to
walk around it and the other energizers to do what they wanted to and
answer
questions. I spent a few hours explaining the lawnmower and window
motors (we
also last-minute rushed a specialized model of the Window B kit that I
partly
assembled and demonstrated during the last few hours). I ran out of
time due to
problems the Resort created and I created due to too many last minute
details,
but these 7 major showpieces were worth it all I think. So there you
have it. I
will be posting a new advertisement shortly for the July Convention
showing the
lawnmower and 30 coiler running. There is still a lot of video to
process.

As for the the July Convention, we are well on our way for the
projects and it
is a main focus this year. No last-minute rushes. Everything
fundamental done
months in advance. People are hired to help and do each project. Money
is slowly
coming it for these projects through registration. Thanks to all who
have
registered so far as this helps us a little to not make this a last
minute
thing. We need the money now. We also need sponsors right now if
anyone is
interested in advertising at this huge event.

Thanks again for all who came last November and to all who will
participate in
this upcoming event. Hopefully this online group will be able to come
up with a
group project and be able to present it in July. I'm going to give the
next 12
people on this group who register the opportunity to speak for 5
minutes each
about their testing the kits, with pictures and video.
