What does "KBR" mean?

Hi all,

     I'm new using OverSim. there are some test apps over application layer within oversim, kbrtestapp is one of them. Unfortunately, I do not what does KBR mean, anybody can tell me the meaning or where I can get some useful information about it ?

Hi

KBR stands for key based routing. searching this on bing, google or whatever should provide you with some results.
You might check wikipedia as a first approach, for example http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distributed_hash_table

KBr is key-based routing. You can find some information in
the oversim paper. look at publication column on the
oversim website

The KBRTestApp Tier 1 application is meant to drive any implemented overlay in Oversim. KBRTestApp randomly generates messages to be routed over a structured overlay. This is just an app that you can use to test how well another overlay works and also provides a means for you to test an overlay that you've implemented.
