Hmm, my Friday is busy.

Next few weeks schedule:
Weds Nov 11
Weds Nov 18
Tues Nov 24
Weds Dec 2

Which of those dates work for folks?

What about over the weekend? I would like to try and get everyone together for these next few sessions before Hyuk bounces out.

I am asking this because tonight is not great for me - and tomorrow is only "doable".
As of right now I am thinking no game tonight - more likely shooting for next week.

Saturday might be free at some point, but I don't know when. Family coming up to Boston on Saturday, and Boda Borg/birthday party on Sunday.

Those other quoted dates work fine for me.

Alright well let's lock in the other dates for sure if people can make those. We'll figure out this weekend if possible. I also might have some Saturday availability.

I'm okay for the 11th and 18th, but I might have to bounce a bit early on the 11th. 24th may be okay, but I'm not sure because my housing situation is unclear from the 20th on. And December is out completely. I should be okay this weekend, but I'm not completely sure yet. Have to look for housing since I have to leave the dorms by the 20th.

Ok, seems like the 11th is not great for people. How about the 12th or the 10th?
As for the other days - seem good?

What about Saturday this weekend? I have some availability in the morning.

The morning? But there is daylight. I will probably be on some sort of mountain. Night time is more roleplaying.

The 10th would be best for me, but I forgot about daylight savings, so I would have to leave by 10:30 for final exams during that week.

Hmm, alright.

Having a lot of trouble finding a time everyone can meet. With Hyuk leaving pretty soon, and after talking with Doug, I think it might be best to change it up a bit. I would like to experiment by moving to a completely play-by-post style for the remainder of this game, with ad-hoc sessions scheduled when we need to have a "combat" or some kind of crazy encounter that would be best for real time.

This would solve both the scheduling problems and also the issues with people missing. My biggest concern with people missing too many sessions is that once you miss some details, esp. in this game, you aren't really coming back from that. Not to mention that if we go too long between sessions, it's also quite difficult to remember what was going on. People have been taking notes, so that's been quite good so far.

What are everyone's thoughts on this? I know it was not the first choice, but I do enjoy myth-weavers for exactly this purpose since you can set up alerts to see when the entire forum is updated and jump back in and post. There are some other nice features as well: private threads, permanent saving of details, posts, etc. Even does dice rolling for you.

Thoughts?

This sounds great by me. We are at a tense moment right now rather than an investigative one, so it may be good to get a session in soon and resolve our insane comrade at sea over chat, but get more forum involvement after.

Hyuk, Adam? thoughts?
I don't think there's any commitment implied - if it doesn't work out, we can try something else.
