NEXT SESSION:

Wednesday, July 1st
6:30 PM EST

We'll try to begin on time, with the stragglers jumping in when they arrive (as by my expectations we are already behind, as usual). 

There are some NPCs in the story ("Moe" and "Larry") who are placeholders for the other PCs. If you post your characters in the forums (literally no one has done this yet), it will be a lot easier in the future.

Some clarifications on last session:

It was asked how long a "day" is in the context of indefinite insanity: 
From the rulebook, p. 156:
"On losing a fifth or more of current Sanity points in one
game “day,” the investigator becomes indefinitely insane. No
investigator is simply able to shrug off this amount of sanity
drain. A “day” in this instance is defined by the Keeper,
usually lasting until the investigator reaches a place of safety
in which they can rest and recover their wits."


Also apparently every time you go insane, I get to modify your backstory!

I have decided that I need people to fill out their character sheets completely online. It's very hard for me to follow what's going on otherwise. Here's a sample sheet I made, took about 10 min: http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=168232

"Defined by Keeper" Are we just going with the "place of safety" ruling?

Since we're doing the Spending Luck optional rule, are we also doing the Recovering Luck Points optional rule? (Same page. Keeper guide p99).

Looks like we only level up skills at the end of a campaign/chapter (p94), instead of the end of a session now? Aww...

Yeah, you've reached a "place of safety" for the time being. But that's a moving target. Much like the "behind enemy lines", some nights of rest might not actually feel all that safe.

Nah. Recovering luck seems dumb. You shouldn't just get to be more lucky by doing nothing. 

It will be more frequent than the end of a campaign/chapter, but not as frequent as every session. So probably once every 2-3 sessions. And I was thinking that instead of leveling up by chance, I would give everyone points to add to things, like 20 points into things you've used successfully, 10 points into other things; something like that.
