Response to Letter

Good Evening Mr. Mullis,

I am writing in response to the letter that was sent to MVF residents early this month regarding the Recreation and Parks strategic plan and revamping the tennis courts to allow people to play pickle ball.

I was shocked to learn that pickle ball is a fast going American sport as I have never heard of it. Overall I think that if the MVF thinks this is a good investment of our fees that we pay, I would have to say they are out of touch with our community. The only other two things I have seen our tennis courts used for (outside of of tennis) is either a dog park or soccer field. It is my opinion that either of these two options would be much better for the Overlea community. I am including our Neighborhood Watch list-serve in case others would like to express their opinions.

I also could not find the link to the strategic plan survey online ; if you could send it to this group, that would be great so that we can voice our opinions and concerns with this plan.

Good Evening,
I am writing to support the points made by Ms. Schiller. In previous communication you shared that the thé tennis court would be converted to a futsol field( soccer). I am shocked to hear that the tennis court will be used for pickle ball. Like Ms. Schiller, I have no idea what that is. My sons are avid soccer players and would love a space to play. I hope you will take the opinion of the community inconsideration before making a final decision.
