OverlapSF Challenge Night — July 12th

Hi everyone,

We wanted to give you a little head's up about the upcoming OverlapSF meetup on Tuesday, July 12th. We have some activities planned to get us all thinking and collaborating. So, bring your friends, and come prepared to jump in and engage! The location and time will be nailed down next week, but in the meantime, let us know if you think you can make it!! 

FYI — going forward, we'll be expanding into Mountain View and Palo Alto on occasion. So, some of the meetups will still be in SF, and some will now be in the South Bay. Hopefully, this will make it a little easier for those of you who commute up from the South Bay after work. :)

On a related note, we just got back from this year's annual Overlap retreat (#overlap11), which was really incredible! It was a perfect mix of great people, great energy, and some really interesting topics. I'm leaving DC at the end of the month to travel Europe for a few months (my wife is a food blogger and we are going on an epic food adventure).

We're spending most of our time in Italy, France, and Greece(maybe).  

I'd be happy to spread Overlap to our European brothers and sisters :)

How exciting!  I would love to help start something up here (NW).  

I have very limited experience with Portland and Overlap, so I am not sure that I would be the best candidate to lead it, though.

How would you suggest we go about it?  Start a Seattle group first, then add a Portland branch?  Start a Meetup on it?
