Visual.ly is hosting a meetup in SOMA on designing data visualizations.  Takes place next Thursday, Dec 8.  Will be 100 to 150 people attending.

There is someone talking about motion graphics, another talking about UX, and they need another someone to talk for 20 minutes about the interaction piece.  Doesn't have to be directly related to data viz, could be interaction design in general.
