I understand that at some stage this facility was occupied by road builders (as in brandy and coke every night), and to be avoided.  Anybody has more up to date information?  As we will be en route to Bots we are more interested in their chalets than their camping sites.

Douw,

When I was there late last year the caravan park was part of the building site of the big hotel being erected next door and not a viable proposition.

Regards,

Douw,

I can't remember the name of the place we stayed in this time last
year, but if you were coming from Danielskuil on the R31 it was the
first place on the left as you entered town, probably about a
kilometre south of Die Oog campsite. Very nice, separate bar and
restaurant (called Strawberry Chilli or something like that).

Don't even visit Die Oog, it'll disappoint you badly (not the actual
attraction, the filth).

Rob
