Yes, like with a WiFfi cable.

2. ..... mine did the same and I had to "teach" them to work efficiently. It does cause frustration and needs time and patience. Although i doubt your internal battery is in good condition this will not be the cauase of the current problem you experience.
You must start by disconnecting the power lead from the car's 12 volt supply. Remove the battery from tthw GPS then plug in the cable to your wall 220/110 volt supply. The gps should start up. THEN while started and running, clip the battery in and leave it for a few hours. This should force some charge into the battery. You might have to do this three or four times. You can also alternate between using the 220/110 volt and the 12 volt.
The important part is to connect the battery AFTER the unit is running.--
Good morning Johan,
Apologies to chirp in.
I am interested in a spare battery for my Garmin 276C. Conveniently, I live in Cape Town and could take over the distribution from here.
Kind regards,
Uli

Hi Johan
I may have someone interested in your other camping gear. Is it still for sale?
He is a missionary living in Namibe, Angola and is into overlanding (I guess if one lives in Angola, you have to 4x4).
I believe he would be a good contact for the rest of us too.
