So with the snow falling. What is the closest place to go from Pretoria. Would love to show the kids.

Cheers

Ermelo apparently had 5 cm this morning.

So did Newcastle

But N3 closed between Wilge and Tugela! Too much snow and ice!

Then drive till you get to where the road is closed due to the snow, and there you will find the snow you are after!  :-)

According to RSG this morning the weather will improve over or before the weekend.  Keep listening to the radio for updates.

Regards,

Yip, closed from Balgowan to van Rheenen. Plenty of stranded motorists
- I hope the hotels and B&Bs along the way are stocked up with Gluhwein
and firewood.

To drive down from Jbg will mean a long detour via northern Natal, not a
good prospect with all the roadworks which now have extra emergency
transit traffic

Cheers
