Hi all. Just to let loyal supporters and maybe new ones know that” The Gearbox Company” has moved to a new premises not far from the old shop and still in Richards drive. The new shop is 700square meters and is a vast improvement from the last one. We have now lots of space and hopefully a more productive working environment to sort out gearboxes,diffs,transfer cases and prop shafts. The new address is at the corner of Richard and Suttie with the entrance still on Richards drive, there is a sign up now .Apologies to the guys who tried to contact us during the move as the ever efficient Telkom did delay lines and comms with the world. Sean - while I have the opportunity. I recently had the diff pinion seals replaced on my 130. Since then the vehicle has a light shudder and audible vibration coming from the drivetrain at exactly 50 Km/h. Most notable when hitting that speed while de-accelerating ? Are you familiar with such a symptom after the props and diffs were fiddled with ?

Some times a rotation of the position can help or make sure the pinion flange has been tightened to the correct position .
