Route Maun to Kasane

I am asking this on behalf of a friend who is buying a (2x4) Discoverer 4 motorhome.

Can one drive the sandy route from Maun to Moremi and Kasane through Chobe/Savuti with such a 2x4 motorhome? Ground clearance should not be a problem.
