My husband and I are traveling in Southern Africa at the moment, and we are overwhelmed with all the options this great continent has to offer. We are trying to figure out which parks to visit during our 2-3 extra weeks we now have. We are willing to take flights throughout Southern Africa to ensure that we see some amazing parks and animals.
I'm hoping you can list your top 3 parks in Africa (ideally Southern Africa), but I am curious to see top 3 overall for current and future travels in Africa.

Thanks,

Nicole

You will get as many places mentioned as replies.

It all depends on budget, availability and capability (or not) of
transport, and a host of other things.

To mention a few (in no particular order) ...

The bird hides at Ndumo Game reserve.
The solitude and beauty of the beach at Ponta Milibangalala
Kruger National Park in spring when all the young are being born
Deception or Tau Pans in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve.
Victoria Falls in full flood
The Afternoon cruise on the Chobe River at Kasane.
The haunting beauty of the copper coloured baobabs at Lekhubu Island in
the Makgadigadi.

And so on ....

Hi Nicole,

In Southern Africa:

South and North Luangwa and Kafue NP, Zambia.
Mana Pools, Zimbabwe
Chobe/Moremi Botswana

All of Africa:

Simien Mountains National Park, Ethiopia.
Serengetti, Tanzania
Samburu, Kenya.

And for two very different experiences, the Bale Mountains NP in
Ethiopia, and the Aberdares in Kenya.

G'day NIcole,

Mana Pools in Zim, Moremi & Chobe in Bots are my top 3. Wilderness & wildlife are the drawcards in each.

Cheers,

Chris

Definitely not to miss the afternoon drive on the Chobe in Kasane.

Mutale Falls Camp in the Makuya Park near Pafuri area.

Kaokoland from Epupa into the Khumib, Hoarusib and Hoanib rivers to Sesfontein.

(There's hundreds more - you will have to immigrate to Africa)

Cheers
