Hi Gents

Any idea where I might be able to source the above? 4x4MW does not have stock, neither do I see any on Ebay.

It is quite frustrating that such a small, relatively inexpensive, yet crucial part is not readily available.

TIA.

Cheers,

Jean

Jean what exactly are you after?

Do you need the whole cable or just the end part with one of the socket connectors?
Are you able to send me a pic?

Once made a mould to cast them - shall check if it is still around.

I would simply solder onto the contacts and silicone seal.

Engel 60 :  The problem is the connection works loose after driving on corrugated roads for a long time. I had to replace my electrical motor once and I believe this was due to this lose connection.
After that I went ahead and soldered the pos and neg wires directly to the corresponding pins in the refridgerator socket. Filled the hole with good quality silicon glue. This has worked perfectly for the last more than 10 years.

Thanks for all the responses gents!

The soldering option looks like the best solution.

Cheers
