The Orange Farm Camping (status unknown)

Hi All,

What is the current status of this place just outside Gaborone? Is it operational, cleanish & not too noisy?

Other than Mokolodi Game Reserve, any other recommended camping options around Gaborone? What about City Camp?

Francois, City camp in Gabs? We did not camp there but drove through.
NOT WORTH IT unless an emergency stop over. Rating 1 - 10 RATING
about 2 (NOT Great)

I'd be very keen to hear about The Orange Farm Camping, if anybody has
information on them.

I just got hold of Gideon, Gys. He's got chalets @BP450pppn/BP500 double
pn and for camping recommended Lion Park +26773293000.

And advised against using The Orange Farm Camping. It sounds somewhat
dilapidated.

I think he will knows best bet you can try Mokolodi as well then.

(ps in 2006 I did stay two night in CitiCamp - was not to bad but I had the Captain and some lovely Bots Beef with me. Do not know what the situation is currently)

You’re right. Lion Park charges the same for camping as Mokolodi, P100 pppn.

I’ll be sure to take protection anyway ;-).
