OT - The Grand Tour - The Beach Buggy Boys

Excuse the ot post. Watched parts 1 & 2 last night where they traveled up the beach in Namibia to the mouth of the Cunene. The part where they were driving with steep dunes on one side and the sea on the other looked like the Doodsakker in Angola. Has anyone traveled an area like this in Namibia - Sperregebiet?

Depends where on the coast  they were. Langewand south of Walvis / Sanwich is similar to doodsakker but without the rocks that opens up.

We did the trip Aus to Swakopmund through Namib. Did the steep descent from Namib dunes to the coast and were faced with this Doodsakker look alike for about 20 km. Second photo is from top before the descent.
