I cannot say what the rest of it looks like, but it's possible that in 3
weeks it would have dried out enough to drive it.
Cheers

Sander, there's a report on the list from a week or two back describing
that approach from the South wasn't possible but from the north (Nata)
it was (JF was it you?). If the Nata route is doable, then the Gweta is
similarly OK.
You will cross Ntwetwe but only about 12km is actual pan surface and
usually drier than the southern entrance track to Kubu...

Read in a german orientated forum:
Hallo!
Sind vor 2 Wochen auf Kubu Island gewesen, überhaupt kein Problem.
Letlhakane Mmatshumo, eigentlich ist ganz Botswana zu befahren, Moremi, actually the whole Botswana is accessible
Chobe, Central Kalahari, Nam. Caprivi, auch der Norden von Namibia ist
erreichbar. also the northern part of Namibia is accessible.
If and when conditions change for the worse, the Mmatshumo and Gweta routes are much more likely to be problematical especially to inexperienced drivers than say the Mabole route. So which one to recommend?
Kind regards,
Francois
