Road condition between Brits and Thabazimbi

Has anyone traveled this road recently, how far is the roadworks from completion.

Traveled it last Sunday. Road itself not too bad, although there is one stretch with some nasty potholes. In some stretches the road is narrow and it is virtually impossible to overtake. If you planning to travel on a busy day, you might experience some frustration. 

I eventually added about an hour's travel time from Stockpoort border post to Jhb, due to a busy road.

Hi Martin,

Thank you for the breakdown, and although how the figures are arrived at is not detailed (and I am unable to replicate the figures), the difference from my calculation is only R144.81.  Mailyn will pay the outstanding balance of R1 176.23 today.
