I'm still playing. When the grapple event or another 180 challenge comes around I'll pipe up.

The Easter weekend was CH EZ  play weekend for me. I did an all nighter and killed the hard level using asst't 180 and a few 200 process point oke's. I have designed another prowler oke called FireAnt178 and another FireAnt thats 197 process point based on the bOrG180 1.4 card.
Has anyone battled the 3 teams of 'boss' Tanks oke's in on the last map?

I havent gotten that far, i was around map 5 when i decided to scrap & try again, i'm trying to unlock everything & messed up by spending too much on the research early in the game.

I'm definatly still around & playing, i'll tackle the grapple contest this weekend.  I'm eager to use Challonge's bracket system.

but first i'll post several units of my own for this one.  i welcome multiple units from all engineers.  double bracket system levels the playing field. so i'm scrapping the idea of pre qualifying matches.   your units will face eachother in both brackets anyways.

Ok great. I still haven't started into EZ yet, but I will. What is the best way to handle the language barrier?

Optional > Play the old CH for a short time, memorize menus and content
optional - recommended > open another emulator and load orig CH and use as reference

Load the first map on EZ and play the practice map. Jump into that and review the menus and you'll see they are basically the same. There is still lots of english text. The tactics map was confusing at first. ( I thought I was sending units to attack when in fact I was sending them to defend.- Using 2 emulators corrected that error )
After the practice map I have had no problems and really enjoy the game. The battle vs is great but again for the first time I explored first.
. In 15 minutes I was ready to actually play the game.

I'm learning a hard lesson about being a Carnage Heart fan.
Never set deadlines...
When ever I see an opening & set it aside to play CH, manage the site,
run contests ect.. Some damn thing pops up, with seeming intention,
to block this hobby & make me a liar in front of you.
My new policy, RQO (Randomly, Quickly & Often)

I have take fate by surprise to make anything happen with this hobby

instead of planning ahead, I'll take opportunities as they come to
stoke the CH fire.

Means more activity from me as well. Just when its least expected.

Thats how it worked out for me last long weekend. I was fortunate to have an opening 3am - ?? and I was wide awake.
I played the last 2 hard maps and created/tested a original program.

Actually I have settled into the same strategy myself, too many things tugging on my timeline. I will try the CH EZ with two open emulators and see how I do. My weakest suit is memorization.
