I have attached a scan of the two pages of the 1793 Reading Township, Your County,.Pennsylvania, Septennial Census (Reading Township was in the part of York County that became Adams County in 1800.)
Line 120 is Overholser, John
Line 123 is Overholser, Abraham
Line 124 is Overholser, John
I have identified these possibilities: Are there others?
JAsr. immigrant John Overholser
His sons
JA John Overholser
AB Abraham Overholser
His grandsons
JA1 Abraham Overholser
JA3 John Overholser
JM=AB2 John Overholser
AB Abraham Overholser died in 1791 so he cannot be the Abraham Overholser in the 1793 census
JM=AB2 John Overholser was living in Woodberry Twp, Bedford Co PA in 1793, so he would not be the John Overholser in the 1793 Reading Twp, York Co PA census.
That leaves us with:
JAsr. immigrant John Overholser
His son
JA John Overholser
His grandsons
JA1 Abraham Overholser
JA3 John Overholser
As far as I can tell, they were all living in Reading Twp, York Co PA in 1793
Line 123 , Overholser, Abraham, must be JA1 Abraham Overholser
There are three possible John Overholsers, JAsr, JA, and JA3. The question is which two of them are the John Overholsers in the 1793 septennial census.
