The Universal USB Installer (Imager), also known as UUI, is USB bootable pendrive software. This ISO to USB utility allows you to easily create a multisystem bootable USB from ISO files. It enables you to boot from USB Windows setup installers, Linux operating systems, stand alone Antivirus software, along with several system diagnostic and PC repair tools.
Take all your favorite Live Linux distributions, Windows Installers, system recovery, backup, and diagnostic tools with you, capable of booting from one USB drive. The most popular antivirus scanners, disk cloning software, penetration testing, and system diagnostic tools can be stored on and configured to boot from the same single multisystem bootable pendrive. You can even use UUI to fully install, boot, and run Windows entirely from USB.UUI - Universal USB Installer software - create bootable USB from ISOUniversal USB Installer Easily Make Bootable USBUsing this open source USB boot maker software is easy as 123. Simply select your target flash drive, choose your distribution from the list, browse to the ISO file (or choose to download the ISO), and then click Create. Once finished, you should have a ready to run Live USB containing the Live operating system, Windows installer, or system diagnostics utility, or advanced system cleaner tool you previously selected.
Some boot from USB tools use simple DD (Disk/Data Duplicator) copy and convert commands to directly burn ISO to USB. The DD method of copying, also commonly referred to as "Data Destroyer" works by overwriting the entire file system on a flash drive with that of a CD or DVD image. This process causes the drive to appear limited to the size of the chosen ISO file which can prevent you from continuing to use the drive for storage purposes. However, if the filesystem used by the CD/DVD image supports expansion, it may be possible to recover lost USB drive space or storage capacity by extending the space and creating another partition to use for storage.UUI offers a more practical method than DD through the use of an exFAT partition for storing bootable ISO files and block images, along with a separate hidden secondary FAT boot partition which is used to boot those files. This method allows your USB drive to appear to Windows as a regular exFAT formatted flash drive and enables you to continue using your removable device for traditional storage purposes.Persistence feature for saving changesAnother key feature of this bootable USB maker is the use of persistent storage, where available. This persistence feature allows you to save changes and then restore those changes on subsequent boots. Ubuntu based Casper persistence works with FAT32, NTFS, or exFAT formatted drives. Starting with version 2.0.1.6, the USB drive is formatted with an exFAT filesystem, so an option to use a larger than 4GB casper-rw or live-rw persistent block file, (also known as an overlay image) is now possible. Currently supporting up to 40GB persistence.Drag and Drop ISO Files onto USBDrag and Drop ISO to USB functionality is supported so long as you don't need persistence, and do not need the tool to keep track of your installs for possible removal at a later point.Supports the ability to Drag and Drop ISO files to the USB driveInstead of relaunching this Live Linux USB Creator to add more distributions, you can simply drag additional ISO, IMG, WIM, VHD(x), VDI.vtoy, and EFI files from any folder on your computer and drop them onto any folder under the UUI folder on your flash drive. You can also create your own folders within the UUI folder to use for storage. During bootup, the system will automatically populate the menu entries for those newly discovered items.
I'm a newbie on Oracle database technology and i'm having some problems with installation of Oracle Database 11g on Windows 7 64 bit OS. I have found a tutorial on how to install Oracle Database 11g on Windows but there's a note that i have to use Oracle Universal installer. Could you please tell me why using OUI is necessary and where can i find version of OUI for 64 bit OS? I've only found OUI for 32-bit OS.
Trying to download the EOS Utility for a new camera (90D) and aoso update Digital Photo Professional for an iMac. I can download the DMG file but when I attempt to open it I get this error message "universal installer quit unexpectedly." Using Terminal to mount it didn't help. Using 3rd party DMG opening apps also didn't work.
I did find the UnversalInstaller and enabled that on my iMac. But no change. I called Canon and they said Ventura OS is very new and Canon Apps are having big issues with it, but recommended I use a mobile device for now until they solve the bugs with Ventura.
I am having no trouble with DPP or EOS Utility on my MacBook Air M2 with Ventura, but that is perhaps because I had them installed with macOS 12.m (but I have installed updates with Ventura installed).
I'm preparing to add Monterey MacOS and MacBook's with M1 chips to our environment. I'm beginning the packaging process for Adobe Silicon products using Adobe Admin Console. The packages will then go to Jamf Admin to Jamf Pro Cloud.
I created two Adobe Creative Cloud Installer policies. One with the Intel package which excludes Apple Silicon devices. And one with the Apple Silicon installer which excludes intel devices. Work pretty well.

I am working to standardize my organization's installation of Adobe products. To start off, I am focusing on the myriad of Adobe Reader, Adobe Acrobat Standard, and Professional installations. My goal is to get everyone an Adobe ID with a 64-bit version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, Standard, or Professional installed based on their needs.
I have been on the Enterprise site to understand how the technologies work now and I see a reference to their Universal Installer. What is unclear to me is if this universal installer encompasses both "Reader" and "Standard Professional." I ask because the enterprise site seems to indicate the Universal Installer is only for Adobe Acrobat Standard or Professional and the feature sets are enabled based on your Adobe ID credentials and to which product you are licensed.
My company notebook has "Adobe Acrobat (64-bit)" installed (currently 23.001.20174) and when I launch the product, it welcomes me to Acrobat Reader, therefore, I am inclined to believe that it is the same product installed on all endpoints and you get "Reader" unless you sign in at which point, Acrobat Standard or Acrobat Professional unlocks based on your Adobe ID. Am I barking up the right tree?

The 64-bit application is a unified application for Acrobat and Acrobat Reader. The default installation location is C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat. If you have installed Acrobat Reader 64-bit and purchased an Acrobat subscription, the Acrobat Reader 64-bit application will upgrade to a fully functional Acrobat 64-bit application.
Hello, and thank you for the confirmation. We are preparing to include the Adobe Acrobat Unified Installer as the single solution for our PDF needs. We have noticed that after the product is installed on an endpoint if a user attempts to print an e-mail (for example) and selects the "Adobe PDF" printer, they are presented with the following:
We are trying to determine if our automated installed product is defective or mandatory to first sign in with an Adobe Acrobat Standard or Pro-licensed Adobe ID. Could anyone please let me know if this is the case so we don't waste our time troubleshooting a licensing issue or if printing is possible with Reader, Standard, and Pro?
Oracle's installer requires certain actions to be performed with root privileges, but does not and should not be invoked directly as the root user. Instead, you run the installer using a regular, non-privileged user, and the installer prompts you to run certain actions as root in another session as needed.
First though check if the default admin group is sudo or wheelif it is sudo and not wheel replace wheel with sudo in the first command. Just don't add your user to the group root and make sure to set a password.
This software installs the drivers that run on your PC to provide the communication between your application programs and your ePadLink electronic signature pad. Unless you have a specially configured installer, you must run the Universal Installer on each computer that has an ePadLink signature pad connected to it.
Silent installation of your Oracle Fusion Middleware product is accomplished by using the -silent flag on the command line when you start the installer. In most cases, you will need to supply the location and name of a file containing certain input values (for example, installation location). These are the values that would be asked for during a typical installation using the graphical user interface.
