Oval 69 Golden Reunion Arterra Hotel Second day Feedback Jan 25th

Very well organized. Starting from Parklane going to the big bus, it was very smooth and orderly.
While in the bus, brod Bebian and brod Lowell take turns in giving out jokes and it was non stop laughing by all oval 69ers.
We arrived at Marina Seaview Restaurant at about 11am. A very beautiful place, everything was prepared in that place including sounds, food and the dance floor. The big place and big dance floor attracted everyone to practice their dancing skills and the fun started. Picture taking was very important and everybody had a chance to be in the big picture. Sumptuous lunch at 12:30 pm and we boarded the bus going to Arterra at 1:30 pm. What an experience at Marina Sea View with all the Zumba dancing, group line dancing and the likes.
Checked in at Arterra at 2:30 pm then proceed to the assigned venue again for a merienda. The salvarro, hot chocolate, bibingka, bodbod and others made our stomach bigger again. Wine and Whisky were always there to warm up the dancers. The band was very good and played nostalgic and modern music. It was fun dancing especially that one of the waiters was a DI too and all joined the line dancing. There was Elvis Presley who surprised everyone. Picture taking again was very rampant and everybody had a chance to be on video or picture. Two pigs died and were served as Lechons for the day. As usual the blue label of Peter warmed up all the boys..
The two day affair in general was excellent and super successful that even from the first night, all the former faculty in attendance were giving a big thumbs up and said “Nindot Kaayo inyong Reunion, walay makalupig” My heart grew ten times bigger and was so happy for all the organizers who were super active and very anticipative that no errors were experienced but all of PERFECTION.Congrats to all of us.
President Peter announced that this Oval 69 Reunion shall be done every two years although in a smaller scale, for those who are still willing and able and miss the fun, camaraderie and all the nice adjectives.
Also discovered that Henry Ong was a good dancer and singer too.
With all humility, we thank God for giving us this rare opportunity to hold this golden Reunion, for the sustained health amongst all oval 69ers. Against all odds, wheel chair or cane, there we go with that fervent desire to see each other all the more. One very unfortunate incident is that brod Lando Dura suffered a health problem and both of them( brod Lando and Fredes) stayed in the Talamban Hospital and were not able to grace the Golden Reunion.

Your feedback here, Alcio, is very much appreciated by yours truly. As I watched the videos, I felt like I am there and enjoying the camaraderie with you guys. I sure admire, including you Alcio, the joh done by the core group to make this occasion run smooth. Congratulations to a job well done.

Sorry for what happened to Lando, here's praying for him and Fredes to get through this ordeal.

Congratulations to all.I am sure I missed a lot of great fun with you guys..But things did not favor my attendance.Just FYI..I had a total left hip replacement done last Jan 14,2019 at CongHua Hospital mandaue.Now I am recuperating at my Daughter -in law's res close to the hospital in Mandaue..

You are always welcome Jimmy. Yes this Golden Reunion is the most memorable of all past Reunions. The Cebu Group, Manila Group, Overseas Group and the Pareto’s Core Group exerted all their best efforts to come up with a unique program and other activities including the extension of our Golden Reunion at Legaspi City hosted by Brod Nelson and Sis Lina:::Mabuhay tayong lahat:::Former Faculty members ‘ presence also boosted the morale of all Oval 69ers...😎😎😎😔😔😎😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😛😛😛😃😃😃
