:Ensign KeHGan listened to Ventok as did  his fellow Officer, the Romulan policeman Virax. Ventok was wired to explode and held the deadman switch in one hand..He also noticed that Sterek had moved to kneel beside LT Burner and appeared to whisper to her,perhaps to contact the CO.

KeH'Gan: Speaking low..Virax get ready to advance on my signal.

Virax: Very Good Ensign I am ready

:a few seconds passed when Ensign heard the very soft hiss of gas being released into the area.Looking forward he saw Ventok having a reaction to the gas as well as the young hostage.

KeH'Gan:VIRAX..NOW!

:Both men then made their move as Sterek grabbed Ventok by the shoulders pinning his arms especially the detonator switch. KeH'Gan grabbed the girl as she was released from Ventoks hold. Gently laying her on the floor Virax moved in to help Sterek.

Sterek: I will require assistance with securing this hostile before the paralysis wears off - Ensign Keh'Gan, could you please secure the detonator button with some of the tape on my utility belt?

KeH'Gan: Aye Sir!

:KeH'Gan took the restraints from Sterek and secured Ventok's hands and the switch as the Romulan was still semi conscious.

Sterek: ^Sterek to engineering. Requesting immediate deployment of explosive defusal teams to the Civilian Promenade; we have twenty active devices currently unaccounted for.^

:Virax also helped Ensign KeH'Gan in  securing the hostile.

KeH'Gan: Thankyou Mr, Virax
