Commander Velana: Let's Get it Started (Tag: Sissons, Kovis, Kors)

Velana:  :Well, I hate to do this, but I need Sissons with me.  We're going down to the surface.  We're going to find the source of this thing and a way to cure it.

Herrera:  I have no doubt.

Velana:  We just need tricorders and phasers, in case we run into anything...or anyone unexpected.

Sissons: Who shall I pass the care of Admiral Herrera on to, Commander?

Velana: :looking around and spotting one of the nurses:  Taylor?  Can you?

Taylor:  Of course, Commander. 

Velana:  :to Sissons:  Can you catch her up on his chart? 

Sissons: Understood :she quickly updated the PADD with Diego's notes:

:Velana reached out to squeeze Diego's hand.  He seemed to understand her unwillingness to say any goodbyes.  They were premature, unnecessary even.:

Sissons: I'm ready for instruction

Kors/Kovis: ?

Velana:  All right.  Computer...four to beam directly to the terraforming camp.

Kors/Kovis: ?

:Together, Velana, Sissons and the two men dematerialized, only to rematerialize a few metres away from the abandoned terraforming camp.  They had left in a hurry, little wonder as their friend had been dying.  Equipment lay where it had been dropped.:

:Eden was every inch the paradise it always was, although perhaps not as deadly as it had been the last time she'd beamed down to the surface.  Still, she was glad they were all in biohazard suits that would prevent any contact with the fauna.:

Velana:  Ensign Kors, I'd like you to start taking soil and water samples.  Kovis and Sissons, we'll start in the terraformers' living quarters.

Kors/Kovis/Sissons:

Velana:  We're looking for anything that they all came into contact with.  If this is where they came into contact with the virus, it's still here in some form or another.  Let's get to work.
