Did you mean you 'can't' turn off the alarm. Yes I have this problem, and there was no caution light. I will try double clicking, but I think I did try that on both unilluminated Caution and Master Caution buttons. I believe I have had this problem before on earlier versions, and just finished the flight and ignored the somewhat irritating alarm. I had it today on v10.20 beta11 32bit.

Ok Brownsen you may be right about other buttons, if I find anything else I may compile a full list. (I know for instance the ENGINE IGN annunciator stays on the ECAM even when the knob is selected to normal).

I can turn off the alarm but the light was not light up when the autopilot disconnect. Send a email to peter plus some other issues, he confirmed there is this bug and other. He says this bugs will be resolved next update but cannot tell when !

I too don't see the light when the AP disconnects, and can only click the "master caution" button when in the 2D cockpit. I haven't tried the update yet, I got the email about 64bit this morning (cool!).

When I am in 3D version and the A/P beep starts , I just press W , which gets me back to 2D cockpit and press the master caution button twice and it stops . Press 1 and tales you back to 3D .I do this becauses all of the pressing in 3D acheives nothing .

Probably related: after an overspeed I corrected, the warning sound remained. The sound consisted of three discrete sounds. I just can't kill it. I had to complete the SVMI to SVMI flight with the annoying sound on. Any help? I can't find an answer in the manuals.

Hello fellows,

I read the JoaoAviao's post at the JAR betatester forum.
Just like him I think about buying the A320 neo from JAR but there are still problems to solve. Never the less I think it's better then Perer Hager's version of the A320. What do you think ?

I don't own Peter's A320 but I bought the A380 and even if the flightmodel is great
there are other serious problems:

1. There is no real FMC containt.
2. You need Goodway for X-Plane (payware version) to create flightplans with
VNAV (ALT constrains)
3. The virtual cockpit of the A380 (by Ramzzess) shows many bugs.
- blury backup gauges
- AP 2 button - light not working during LAND 3
- Manipulators not set well --> RADIO at the pedestal not working right.
4. NAV display seems XP-standard - not zoomable
5. No VOR approaches possible.
6. Cabin not modelled

Although I reported the problems to Peter and Ramzzess in April, still no bugfixes.

So I'm not sure if Peters A320 is a better choice than the one from JARDesign.
For this reasons Peter's A380 is disappointing and I doubt if Peter has the skills
to meet the needs of a community expecting a fully 3D modelled Plane with completly functional Avionics and FMC.

Last but not least I tried creating a flightplan as described in the manual useing Goodway for XP. Unfortunately you can't do it with the free version but need a payware / shareware version. The current version of GoodwayXP is 4, Ver. 5 comming up soon, so I

did anyone figure out how to silence this auto pilot off warning sound. tried the master in all forms and that button does not even respond, not light up , doesn't give you the hand fingere option. I just bought the a380 yesterday and this has happened twice now on separate flights.

well the a380 still does it and the cockpit 3d isnt that very pretty compared to alot of other planes but to get rid of the alarm noise on x-plane 11 go to developer at top and then click on reload current aircraft. that will do it.

I am experiencing this constant beeping annoying beeping sound. I have flown other aircraft eg: Jardesign a320 and a330. So far these two are 60% more flyable in my opinion compared to Peter Hager a380. Most of the buttons are disabled and for those ones that are function don't do much. I really hope Peter can improve on this. Considering the price tag, we all deserve something better.
