Respected Outbrain Support Team,

I am reaching out regarding an issue with accessing the Outbrain API using our Amplify API token.

While attempting to test the Outbrain API, I received the error message: "Unauthorized: Authentication token was either missing or invalid." I am using the token generated from the email ID a...@performacemedia.com, which has been successfully used in the past. However, this time, the error persists.

Additionally, I attempted to generate the API token via https://api.outbrain.com/amplify/v0.1/login, but this method also failed. I also tried accessing the Outbrain API through Dileep Sir’s account - Outbrain user (dil...@performancemedia.com) but encountered the same issue.

Could you please confirm if my official email ID, sri...@performancemedia.com, needs to be granted access to the Outbrain account to resolve this and assist us in addressing this issue? Or a...@performacemedia.com?

Hi Deepak, 

Thank you for reaching out to us. 

From all the users listed, only this one has API access: a...@performacemedia.com

So I suggest you create a token using this user, as well as run subsequent queries afterwards with this user. 

In the screenshot you shared with me, I noticed that you use the Authentication wrongly (Headers section in Postman) - under the key you have to have OB-TOKEN-V1 and under the label you should enter your token.
