Hi

1. Does your service retroactively update reporting data for impressions, clicks and spend?
2. For what period can we get historical data with your API?
3. When does reporting data for the previous day become available? Does the user’s timezone affect the availability of the data? We need to determine the time when our app can start sending requests to obtain the reporting data for the past day.
4. If your client doesn’t add UTM parameters to ad URLs, how will the traffic source and medium be reported in Google Analytics and other third-party tracking systems?
5. Does your API return spend with VAT rate or without one?

Hi,

Thanks for approaching us with your questions, answers as follows:
1. There are no retroactive updates. We calculate these metrics once every hour, it takes between 2-4 hours to process and the result of this process is written once and never changes afterwards.
2. Currently the data available in the performance reports is from May 1st 2015.
3. We currently do not support fetching hourly data separately, so the date is set according to the EST timezone (GMT-4). Combined with the maximum 4 hours for processing hourly data the earliest time to fetch previous date data is 4am EST (8am GMT).
4. It's possible to add dynamic parameters to a campaign's suffix tracking code (including GA). You can read more in our official documentation
.
5. The spend returned from the API is being calculated without VAT.

Please let us know if there are any other issue you need to clarify.
Sivan

Hi Sivan,

are you planning to support fetching data hourly anytime soon, or at least to change the reporting timezone?

Best,
Holger

Holger,

We are planning to support hourly data within the next few months and once it's released we will be sure to put a notification in the Google Group. Changing the timezone is not on our current roadmap.

Best,

Laine
